Community Vision Workshops
CONNECTING DRYLAND COMMUNITIES USING HOLISTIC MANAGEMENT TO IMPROVE RESILIENCE AND QUALITY OF LIFE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
Here we share the results of the workshops that we have carried out in 3 different communities of the Dry Forest and of a fourth unified workshop with representatives from all of the communities. We present what the residents expressed in their own words; how they wanted their quality of life to be, how the land and the environment should be in order to provide this quality of life, and how they must behave to achieve it. If you agree with the use of “Holistic Context” for the communities of the Dry Forest, add your signature in support of making it a reality!

See here the workshop experiences and perspectives of our own volunteer interns who supported us in achieving this vision:
During my second week as a NGO Management intern with EcoSwell, director Diego asked for me and an accompanying intern to take a three-day trip with him to conduct a workshop on holistic management in El Angolo, which would lay the foundations for future ecosystem restoration projects there…
My first ever experience helping run a community workshop was both exciting and even challenging. There were many factors I didn’t anticipate like power outages and the relaxed Peruvian start time…
